The weather has turned. The leaves on the trees have turned. 

This morning a trip to Haunn rewarded us with a wonderful sighting of a Hen Harrier hunting over the Coronation Meadow.  Flying like a lilting butterfly, playing the air, ducking out of sight beyond a knoll, and reappearing further away before disappearing out of sight completely.  They are such poetic flyers!

Spring wild flower walking

In no particular order, walks through the wood, along the shore, under a bridge, on the hill.  Everything is benefitting from the warmth last week and beginning to flower.
