Birdsong and Foxgloves #30DaysWild

A walk through Calgary woods this afternoon.

A walk down to the shore beyond Haunn later. Lots of huge clumps of Lousewort and many Heath spotted orchids.   There were Oystercatchers, calling, calling, flying out in formation over low tide rocks.  Flying along the cliff face were ominously silent Black-backed gulls.

The Foxgloves are coming out.

This is one of the hydrid Northern marsh orchids which flower in the burn next to East Cottage at Haunn.

And tonight's sunset..
