The mist was right down at the start of the day, and Farmer wondered if he was doing the right thing putting all the hill ewes and their lambs through the fank today. It is not good doing it in the wet. But thankfully by about 10am it had dried off into a really beautiful day.
I couldn't help but take my 30DaysWild experience on the way up to the fank with their tea and bacon rolls at 11! The light coming through all the droplets of mist on the track verges was just magical.
Later in the day I was up a hidden glen, listening to Curlew and Lapwing calling, walking beside a river full of memories. Wild.
