#30DaysWild - Day 11

An evening walk on the wild side in the Haunn field - the Coronation Meadow.  There was a bit of a nip in the air, cooler than last night. The grass in here is nothing like as long as it was this time last year, and the grazing pattern is the same.

The Wood bitter-vetch hasn't been put off by the cool spring, and is showing up on all its usual banks and verges.

Time out. Lying in the grass, listening to the meadow pipits, listening out for the Curlews again, feeling the brightness of the sun, feeling the cool moisture of the evening air.

Yellow rattle is beginning to flower too - the meadow friend.

Back home in time for the sunset.
