I gave Farmer a nest cam for his birthday last year. We could only access the camera outside as the walls of the house are too thick and the signal didn't reach. So every day we watched a Blue tit lay, then incubate her tidy nest of eggs. It seemed no time at all before she was feeding 5 hungry chicks. And then suddenly 2 days ago, we took our daily look - only to find they had all fledged.
This evening we found them all around the bird feeder near the house. It has been a great privilege to watch them hatch, grow and fledge.
