Along the north shore

This beetle is called Oieceoptoma Thoracicum, common in woodland across the UK.

The shoreline is beginning to really flourish. Ferns unfurl. Sea pinks flutter in the breeze.  A heron flies off as I approach the cliff edge to look for rose root.

Sea campion clings to the sea facing rock.

Blue bells of the blue bells glow in light sun.

And lovely to see the first birds foot trefoil, such an important butterfly and moth plant.
